1 AN ACT concerning criminal law.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Criminal Code of 2012 is amended by adding
5 Section 11-1.25 as follows:
6 (720 ILCS 5/11-1.25 new)
7 Sec. 11-1.25. Sexual assault by deception.
8 (a) A person commits sexual assault by deception if the
9 person commits an act of sexual penetration and the victim
10 submits under the belief that the person committing the act is
11 someone known to the victim other than the accused, and this
12 belief is induced by pretense or concealment by the accused
13 with the intent to induce that belief.
14 (b) Sentence. Sexual assault by deception is a Class 3
15 felony.
