4-AN ACT concerning State government.
5-Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
6-represented in the General Assembly:
7-Section 5. The State Treasurer Employment Code is amended
8-by changing Sections 7a, and 7b as follows:
9-(15 ILCS 510/7a) (from Ch. 130, par. 107a)
10-Sec. 7a. Terms - compensation. Members of the Personnel
11-Review Board shall initially be appointed as follows:
12-(a) One member to serve for 2 years and until a successor
13-is appointed;
14-(b) One member to serve for 4 years and until a successor
15-is appointed; and
16-(c) One member to serve for 6 years and until a successor
17-is appointed.
18-Thereafter, members of the Board shall be appointed by the
19-Treasurer for 6 year terms with the advice and consent of the
20-Senate. One member of the Board shall be appointed a
21-chairperson for a 2 year term. Members of the Board shall each
22-be paid $100 for each day they are engaged in the business of
23-the Board and shall be reimbursed for their expenses when
24-engaged in such business receive no compensation for their
25-services, but shall be reimbursed for necessary traveling and
26-other official expenses.

41-signed by any 2 members, or upon call of the Treasurer. Two
42-members of the Board constitute a quorum.

44-Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
