SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED: 
 
Appropriates $450,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the 
Department of Human Services for an initial full year's 
implementation of a non -profit vendor that can compare and 
assess addiction treatment facilities to identify high quality 
providers and provide a publicly available search function for 
patients, health care providers, and first responders to find 
substance use disorder services. Effective July 1, 2023.

  AN ACT concerning appropriations. 1 
 
  Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented 2 
in the General Assembly:  3 
 
  Section 5. The sum of $450,000, or so much of that amount 4 
as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 5 
Fund for an initial full year's implementation of a non -profit 6 
vendor that can compare and assess addiction treatment 7 
facilities to identify high quality providers and provide a 8 
publicly available search function for patients, health care 9 
providers, and first responders to find substance use disorder 10 
services.   11 
 
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 12 
2023.  13
