SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $1,500,000, or so much thereof as may be
necessary, from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of
Natural Resources for a comprehensive study of the Kaskaskia
River watershed in coordination with the United States Army
Corps of Engineers. Effective July 1, 2023.

AN ACT concerning appropriations. 1
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented 2
in the General Assembly: 3
Section 5. The amount of $1,500,000, or so much thereof as 4
may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 5
to the Department of Natural Resources for a comprehensive 6
study of the Kaskaskia River watershed in coordination with the 7
United States Army Corps of Engineers. 8
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 9
2023. 10
