4-AN ACT concerning State government.
5-Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
6-represented in the General Assembly:
7-Section 5. The Department of Public Health Powers and
8-Duties Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is
9-amended by adding Section 2310-720 as follows:
10-(20 ILCS 2310/2310-720 new)
11-Sec. 2310-720. Pilot program with municipalities that
12-employ a certified plumbing inspector. The Department shall
13-create a pilot program to allow the Department to enter into an
14-agreement with a municipality that employs a State of Illinois
15-certified plumbing inspector to do inspections on behalf of
16-the Department and submit appropriate documentation as
17-requested to verify the inspections were completed to the
18-standards required by the Department and outlined in the
19-partnership.
