SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Makes appropriations for the ordinary and contingent
expenses of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Commission for the
fiscal year beginning July 1, 2023, as follows:
General Funds $700,000
Other State Funds $247,500
Total $947,500

AN ACT concerning appropriations. 1
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented 2
in the General Assembly: 3
ARTICLE 1 4
Section 1. The sum of $ 700,000 or so much thereof as may 5
be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to 6
the Deaf and Hard of Hearin g Commission for operational 7
expenses of the fiscal year ending June 30, 202 4. 8
Section 5. The sum of $247,500, or so much thereof as may 9
be necessary, is appropriated from the Interpreters for the 10
Deaf Fund to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Commission fo r 11
administration and enforcement of the Interpreter for the Deaf 12
Licensure Act of 2007. 13
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 14
2023. 15
