SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Makes appropriations for the ordinary and contingent
expenses of the Commission on Equity and Inclusion for the
fiscal year beginning July 1, 2023, as follows:
General Funds $3,100,000
Other State Funds $4,000,000
Total $7,100,000

AN ACT concerning appropriations. 1
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented 2
in the General Assembly: 3
ARTICLE 1 4
Section 1. The sum of $2,800,000, or so much thereof as 5
may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 6
to the Commission on Equity and Inclusion for the ordinary and 7
contingent expenses of the Commission. 8
Section 5. The sum of $4,000,000, or so much thereof as 9
may be necessary, is appropriated from the Professional 10
Services Fund to the Commission on Equity and Inclusion for the 11
ordinary and contingent expenses of the Commission . 12
Section 10. The amount of $300,000, or so much thereof as 13
may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 14
to the Commission on Equity and Inclusion for costs and expenses 15
associated with outreach, engagement, and services to support 16
the Business Enterprise Program. 17
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 18
2023. 19
