SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Makes appropriations for the ordinary and contingent
expenses of the Human Rights Commission for the fiscal year
beginning July 1, 2023, as follows:

AN ACT concerning appropriations. 1
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented 2
in the General Assembly: 3
ARTICLE 1 4
Section 1. The sum of $3, 210,000, or so much thereof as may 5
be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to 6
the Human Rights Commission for operational expenses of the 7
Commission. 8
Section 5. The sum of $1, 590,000, or so much thereof as 9
may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 10
to the Human Rights Commission for t he Illinois Torture Inquiry 11
and Relief Commission. 12
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 13
2023. 14
