SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Makes appropriations for the ordinary and contingent
expenses of the Board of Trustees of Chicago State University
for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2023, as follows:
General Funds $39,343,800
Other State Funds $ 3,307,000
Total $42,650,800

AN ACT concerning appropriations. 1
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented 2
in the General Assembly: 3
ARTICLE 1 4
Section 5. The amount of $3 9,343,800, or so much thereof 5
as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Education 6
Assistance Fund to the Board of Tr ustees of Chicago State 7
University to meet its operational expenses for the fiscal year 8
ending June 30, 2024. 9
Section 10. The sum of $3,000,000, or so much thereof as 10
may be necessary, is appropriated from the Chicago State 11
University Education Improve ment Fund to the Board of Trustees 12
of Chicago State University for any expenses incurred by the 13
university. 14
Section 15. The sum of $307,000, or so much thereof as may 15
be necessary, is appropriated from the General Professions 16
Dedicated Fund to the Board of Trustees of Chicago State 17
University for costs associated with the development, support 18
or administration of pharmacy practice education or training 19

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 1
