33	33	AN ACT concerning appropriations. 1

35	35	Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented 2
36	36	in the General Assembly: 3

38	38	ARTICLE 1 4

40	40	Section 5. The amount of $2 15,140,200, or so much thereof 5
41	41	as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Education 6
42	42	Assistance Fund to the Board of T rustees of Southern Illinois 7
43	43	University to meet its operational expenses for the fiscal year 8
44	44	ending June 30, 2024. 9

46	46	Section 10. The sum of $62,800, or so much thereof as may 10
47	47	be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to 11
48	48	the Southern Illinois University for any costs associated with 12
49	49	the Daily Egyptian Newspaper. 13

51	51	Section 15. The sum of $1,000,000, or so much thereof as 14
52	52	may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 15
53	53	to the Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois Universit y for 16
54	54	costs associated with the National Corn -to-Ethanol Research 17
55	55	Center and ethanol research grants. 18

60	60	Fund to the Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University 2
61	61	for all costs associated with the Simmons Cooper Cancer Center. 3

64	64	be necessary, is appropriated from the State College and 5
65	65	University Trust Fund to the Board of Tru stees of Southern 6
66	66	Illinois University for scholarship grant awards. 7

69	69	may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Professions 9
70	70	Dedicated Fund to the Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois 10
71	71	University for all costs associated with the development, 11
72	72	support or administration of pharmacy practice education or 12
73	73	training programs at the Edwardsville campus. 13

77	77	to the Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University for 16
78	78	all costs associated with programming at the formerly 17
79	79	Lindenwood Campus in Bell eville. 18
