The sum of $700,000, or so much thereof as may 5 be necessary, is appropriated from the Fire Prevention Fund to 6 the Office of the State Fire Marshal for all co sts associated 7 with the Minimum Basic Firefighter Training Program. 8 Section 20. The sum of $ 75,000, or so much thereof as may 9 be necessary, is appropriated from the Fire Prevention Fund to 10 the Office of the State Fire Marshal for all costs associated 11 with the Illinois Firefighter Peer Support Program. 12 Section 25. The sum of $75,000, or so much thereof as may 6 be necessary, is appropriated from the Illinois Fire Fighters’ 7 Memorial Fund to the Office of the State Fire Marshal for 8 expenses related to the Maintenance and Rehabilitation of the 9 Fire Museum Building and Museum Artifacts. 10 Section 45. The sum of $ 300,000, or so much thereof as may 11 be necessary, is appropriated from the Illinois Fire Fighters’ 12 Memorial Fund to the Offic e of the State Fire Marshal for all 13 costs associated with the Medal of Honor Ceremony, Scholarships 14 and Firefighter Memorial Maintenance. 15 Section 50. The sum of $10,000, or so much thereof as may 5 be necessary, is appropriated from the Fire Prevention Fund to 6 the Office of the State Fire Marshal for a grant to the 7 Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Reimbursement. 8 Section 75. The sum of $550,000, or so much thereof as may 9 be necessary, is appropriated from the Underground Storage Tank 10 Fund to the Office of the State Fire Marshal for a grant to the 11 City of Chicago for administrative costs incurred as a result 12 of the State’s Underground Storage Tank Program. 13 Section 80. The sum of $5,000, or so much thereof as may 14 be necessary, is appropriated from the Fire Prevention Fund to 15 the Office of the State Fire Marshal for Diversity, Equity and 16 Inclusion curriculum development for fire service training. 17 Section 85. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 6 2023. 7
