34	34	Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented 2

40	40	as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Education 6
41	41	Assistance Fund to the Board of T rustees of the University of 7
42	42	Illinois to meet its operational expenses for the fiscal year 8

148	148	the Prairie Research Institute for costs associated with 12
149	149	conducting the carbon capture, utilization, and storage study. 13

155	155	dioxide capture technology at a coal -fired power plant, and 18
156	156	other projects in consultation with the United States 19

168	168	be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of business 7
169	169	on June 30, 2023, from an appropriation heretofore made for 8
170	170	such purpose in Article 138, Section 390 of Public Act 102 -9
171	171	0698, as amended, is reappropriated from the State Coronavirus 10
172	172	Urgent Remediation Emergency Fund to the Board of Trustees of 11
173	173	the University of Illinois for costs associated with the water 12
174	174	rates report under Section 115 of the University of Illinois 13
175	175	Act for purposes permitted by Section 9901 of t he American 14
176	176	Rescue Plan Act of 2021 and related federal guidance. No 15
177	177	contract shall be entered into or obligation incurred for water 16
178	178	rates report from appropriations made in this section until 17
179	179	after the purpose and amounts have been approved in writing by 18
180	180	the Governor. 19

182	182	Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 20
