SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Makes appropriations for the ordinary and contingent
expenses of the State Police Merit Board for the fiscal year
beginning July 1, 2023, as follows:

AN ACT concerning appropriations. 1
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented 2
in the General Assembly: 3
ARTICLE 1 4
Section 5. The amount of $1,432,900, or so much thereof 5
as may be necessary, is appropriated to the State Police Merit 6
Board from the State Police Merit Board Public Safety Fund for 7
its ordinary and contingent expenses. 8
Section 10. The amount of $2,000,000, or so much thereof 9
as may be necessary, is appropriated to the State Polic e Merit 10
Board from the State Police Merit Board Public Safety Fund for 11
all costs associated with a cadet program for the Illinois 12
State Police. 13
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 14
2023. 15
