SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Makes appropriations for the ordinary and contingent
expenses of the Office of the Lieutenant Governor for the fiscal
year beginning July 1, 2023, as follows:
General Funds $2,663,800
Other State Funds $ 100,000
Total $2,763,800

AN ACT concerning appropriations. 1
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented 2
in the General Assembly: 3
ARTICLE 1 4
Section 5. The amount of $ 2,616,300, or so much thereof 5
as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 6
Fund to the Office of the Lie utenant Governor to meet its 7
operational expenses for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 8
2023. 9
Section 10. The sum of $47,500, or so much thereof as may 10
be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to 11
the Office of the Lieutenant Governor for all costs associated 12
with Rural Affairs including any grants or administrative 13
expenses. 14
Section 15. The sum of $100,000, or so much thereof as may 15
be necessary, is appropriated to the Office of the Lieutenant 16
Governor from the Lieutenant Governor ’s Grant Fund for ordinary 17
and contingent expenses associated with the office. 18
