The sum of $1,987,260 or so much thereof as 9 may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of business 10 on June 30, 2023, from an appropriation heretofore made for such 11 purpose in Article 138, Section 550 of Public Act 102 -0698, as 12 amended, is reappropriated from the State Coronavirus Urgent 13 Remediation Emergency Fund to the Department of Human Services 14 to make grants to agencies funded by the Supportive Housing 15 Services (Bureau of Homeless Services) for the purpose of 16 employee recruitment and retention, including, but not limited 17 to bonuses for current staff. 18 Section 175. The sum of $1,000,000, or so much thereof as 19 may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of business 20 on June 30, 2023, from an appropriation heretofore made for such 21 purpose in Article 138, Section 555 of Public Act 102 -0698, as 22 amended, is reappropriated from the State Coronavir us Urgent 23 HB2701 -85- OMB103 00027 DXI 45027 b Remediation Emergency Fund to the Department of Human Services 1 for administration by the Illinois Housing Development Authority 2 for purposes allowed by Section 9901 of the American Rescue Plan 3 Act of 2021 and any associated federal guidance for t he ordinary 4 and contingent expenses of Carter Temple Community Development 5 Corporation. 6 Section 180. The sum of $1,049,747, or so much thereof as 7 may be necessary, is appropriated from the State Coronavirus 8 Urgent Remediation Emergency Fund to the Depar tment of Human 9 Services for the Illinois Housing Development Authority for 10 grants and administrative expenses associate with COVID -19 11 Affordable Housing Grant Program for purposes allowed by Section 12 9901 of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 and any asso ciated 13 federal guidance. 14 Section 185. The sum of $15,000,000, or so much thereof as 15 may be necessary, is appropriated from the State Coronavirus 16 Urgent Remediation Emergency Fund to the Department of Human 17 Services for the Illinois Housing Development A uthority for 18 grants, forgivable loans and administrative expenses associated 19 with affordable housing developments eligible for federal Low 20 Income Housing Tax Credits and/or the COVID -19 Affordable 21 Housing Grant Program for purposes allowed by Section 9901 of 22 the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 and any associated federal 23 HB2701 -86- OMB103 00027 DXI 45027 b guidance. 1 Section 99.
