The sum of $3,200,000, or so much thereof as 1 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Illinois Workers’ 2 Compensation Commission Operations Fund to the Department of 3 Insurance for costs associated with the administration and 4 operations of the Insurance Frau d Division of the Illinois 5 Workers’ Compensation Commission’s Anti -Fraud Program. 6 Section 55. The sum of $2,000,000, or so much thereof as 7 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Parity Advancement 8 Fund to the Illinois Department of Insurance for costs and 9 expenses related to or in support of parity compliance 10 advocacy, consumer education, and any other initiatives that 11 support parity implementation and enforcement on behalf of 12 consumers. 13 Section 60. The sum of $10,000,000, or so m uch thereof as 14 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Illinois Health 15 Benefits Exchange Fund to the Department of Insurance for costs 16 associated with implementation of a healthcare feasibility 17 study recommendation. 18 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 19 2023. 20
