  Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented 2 
in the General Assembly:  3 
 
ARTICLE 1 4 
 
  Section 5.  The following named amounts, or so much thereof 5 
as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects and purposes 6 
hereinafter named, are appropriated from the Insurance Producer 7 
Administration Fund to the Department of Insurance: 8

  Section 15.  The sum of $ 5,000,000, or so much thereof as 7 
may be necessary, is appropriated from the Insurance Producer 8 
Administration Fund to the Department of Insurance for costs 9 
and expenses related to or in support of the agency’s 10 
operations. 11 
 
  Section 20.  The following named amounts, or so much thereof 12 
as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects and p urposes 13 
hereinafter named, are appropriated from the Insurance 14 
Financial Regulation Fund to the Department of Insurance: 15

  Section 30.  The sum of $6,000,000, or so much thereof as 14 
may be necessary, is appropriated from the Insurance Financial 15 
Regulation Fund to the Department of Insurance for costs 16 
associated with the establishment, administration and 17 
operations of the Workers’ Compensation Fraud Unit Information 18 
Technology System. 19 
 
  Section 35.  The sum of $100,000, or so much thereof as may 20 
be necessary, is approp riated from the George Bailey Memorial 21

related to or in support of the George Bailey Memorial Program. 1 
 
  Section 40.  The following named amounts, or so much thereof 2 
as may be necessary, respecti vely, for the objects and purposes 3

Regulation Fund to the Department of Insurance: 5

  Section 45.  The sum of $2,600,000, or so much thereof as 19 
may be necessary, is appropriated from the Public Pension 20 
Regulation Fund to the Department of Insurance for costs and 21 
expenses related to or in support of the agency’s operations. 22

  Section 50. The sum of $3,200,000, or so much thereof as 1 
may be necessary, is appropriated from the Illinois Workers’ 2 
Compensation Commission Operations Fund to the Department of 3 
Insurance for costs associated with the administration and 4 
operations of the Insurance Frau d Division of the Illinois 5 
Workers’ Compensation Commission’s Anti -Fraud Program. 6 
 
  Section 55.  The sum of $2,000,000, or so much thereof as 7 
may be necessary, is appropriated from the Parity Advancement 8 
Fund to the Illinois Department of Insurance for costs and 9 
expenses related to or in support of parity compliance 10 
advocacy, consumer education, and any other initiatives that 11 
support parity implementation and enforcement on behalf of 12 
consumers. 13 
 
  Section 60. The sum of $10,000,000, or so m uch thereof as 14 
may be necessary, is appropriated from the Illinois Health 15 
Benefits Exchange Fund to the Department of Insurance for costs 16 
associated with implementation of a healthcare feasibility 17 
study recommendation. 18 
 
 
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 19 
2023. 20
