| 18 | 18 | | 8 (a) A reference in another Act to a town (other than an |

| 19 | 19 | | 9 incorporated town) shall be deemed a reference to a township |

| 20 | 20 | | 10 as that that term is used in this Code. |

| 21 | 21 | | 11 (b) A reference in another Act to the board of trustees of |

| 22 | 22 | | 12 a town (other than an incorporated town) or township, the |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | 13 board of town trustees, or the board of township trustees |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | 14 shall be deemed a reference to the township board as that term |

| 25 | 25 | | 15 is used in this Code. |
