1 AN ACT concerning regulation.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by
5 changing Section 1505 as follows:
6 (215 ILCS 5/1505)
7 Sec. 1505. Purpose and scope. This Article governs the the
8 qualifications and procedures for the licensing of public
9 adjusters. It specifies the duties of and restrictions on
10 public adjusters, which include limiting their licensure to
11 assisting insureds in first party claims.
