1111 1 AN ACT concerning State government.
1212 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
1313 3 represented in the General Assembly:
1414 4 Section 5. The Children and Family Services Act is amended
1515 5 by adding Section 34.6a as follows:

1717 7 Sec. 34.6a. Caseload report to General Assembly. The
1818 8 Department shall submit to the General Assembly no later than
1919 9 March 1 of each year a report in relation to the ongoing case
2020 10 files of the Department, the caseload tracking system or
2121 11 systems operated by the Department, the ratio of active case
2222 12 files to active Department personnel, and how appropriations
2323 13 to the Department can be structured to incentivize the
2424 14 Department to manage its caseload and to reduce the burden of
2525 15 individual case responsibilities upon individual Department
