1111 1 AN ACT concerning revenue.
1212 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
1313 3 represented in the General Assembly:
1414 4 Section 5. The Department of Revenue Law of the Civil
1515 5 Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by adding Section
1616 6 2505-810 as follows:
1717 7 (20 ILCS 2505/2505-810 new)
1818 8 Sec. 2505-810. Collection of individualized tax
1919 9 identification data. The Department shall not require a
2020 10 taxpayer, whether an individual, not-for-profit, or business
2121 11 entity, to collect and furnish to the Department individual
2222 12 tax identification information from vendors that participate
2323 13 in an event hosted or sponsored by the taxpayer.
2424 14 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
