Appropriates $5,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to
the Department of Human Services for grants to community -based
organizations for costs associated with community navigators
for the Medicaid redetermination process. Effective July 1,
2023.

AN ACT concerning appropriations. 1
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented 2
in the General Assembly: 3
Section 5. The sum of $5,000,000, or so much of that amount 4
as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 5
Fund to the Department of Human Servi ces for grants to 6
community-based organizations for costs associated with 7
community navigators for the Medicaid redetermination process. 8
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 9
2023. 10
