SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Makes various appropriations to the Department of Human
Services, the Department of Children and Family Services, the
Department of Public Health, and the Department on Aging for
grants to cover all costs associated with technical assistance
and navigation of the Grant Accountability and Transparency
Act. Effective July 1, 202 3.

AN ACT concerning appropriations. 1
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented 2
in the General Assembly: 3
Section 5. The sum of $250,000, or so much of that amount 4
as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 5
Fund to the Department of Human Services for grants to cover 6
all costs associated with technic al assistance and navigation 7
of the Grant Accountability and Transparency Act. 8
Section 10. The sum of $250,000, or so much of that amount 9
as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 10
Fund to the Department of Children and Family Service s for 11
grants to cover all costs associated with technical assistance 12
and navigation of the Grant Accountability and Transparency 13
Act. 14
Section 15. The sum of $250,000, or so much of that amount 15
as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenu e 16
Fund to the Department of Public Health for grants to cover all 17
costs associated with technical assistance and navigation of 18
the Grant Accountability and Transparency Act. 19

as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 1
Fund to the Department on Aging for grants to cover all costs 2
associated with technical assistance and navigation of the 3
Grant Accountability and Transparency Act. 4
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 5
2023. 6
