1 AN ACT concerning public aid.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by
5 adding Section 5-5.06f as follows:
6 (305 ILCS 5/5-5.06f new)
7 Sec. 5-5.06f. Speech, occupational, and physical therapy
8 services; reimbursement rates. Notwithstanding any other law
9 or rule to the contrary, the Medicaid rates set forth in the
10 Department's therapy provider fee schedule for reimbursement
11 of occupational therapists, physical therapists, and
12 speech-language pathologists shall be no less than the
13 reimbursement rates set forth in the Medicare fee schedule for
14 occupational therapists, physical therapists, and
15 speech-language pathologists.
16 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
17 becoming law.
