1111 1 AN ACT concerning elections.
1212 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
1313 3 represented in the General Assembly:
1414 4 Section 5. The Election Code is amended by changing
1515 5 Section 19-2.5 as follows:

1717 7 Sec. 19-2.5. Notice for vote by mail ballot. An election
1818 8 authority shall notify all qualified voters, except voters who
1919 9 have applied for permanent vote by mail status under
2020 10 subsection (b) of Section 19-3 or voters who submit a written
2121 11 request to be excluded from the permanent vote by mail status,
2222 12 not more than 90 days nor less than 45 days before a general or
2323 13 consolidated election, of the option for permanent vote by
2424 14 mail status using the following notice and including the
2525 15 application for permanent vote by mail status in subsection
2626 16 (b) of Section 19-3:
2727 17 "You may apply to permanently be placed on vote by mail
2828 18 status using the attached application.".
