1111 1 AN ACT concerning State government.
1212 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
1313 3 represented in the General Assembly:
1414 4 Section 5. The Department of Professional Regulation Law
1515 5 of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by
1616 6 adding Section 2105-370 as follows:
1717 7 (20 ILCS 2105/2105-370 new)
1818 8 Sec. 2105-370. Licensure fee waiver for military families.
1919 9 All fees for licensure with the Department for military
2020 10 families shall be waived except for the actual cost of
2121 11 fingerprinting and a criminal background check for an initial
2222 12 licensure under the relevant Act.
2323 13 As used in this Section, "military families" means
2424 14 active-duty service members in the armed services of the
2525 15 United States, military spouses, honorably discharged veterans
2626 16 of the armed services of the United States, spouses of such
2727 17 honorably discharged veterans, and unmarried surviving spouses
2828 18 of deceased service members of the armed services of the
