11	11	1 AN ACT concerning State government.
12	12	2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
13	13	3 represented in the General Assembly:
14	14	4 Section 5. The Department of Professional Regulation Law
15	15	5 of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by
16	16	6 adding Section 2105-370 as follows:
17	17	7 (20 ILCS 2105/2105-370 new)
18	18	8 Sec. 2105-370. Licensure fee waiver for military families.
19	19	9 All fees for licensure with the Department for military
20	20	10 families shall be waived except for the actual cost of
21	21	11 fingerprinting and a criminal background check for an initial
22	22	12 licensure under the relevant Act.
23	23	13 As used in this Section, "military families" means
24	24	14 active-duty service members in the armed services of the
25	25	15 United States, military spouses, honorably discharged veterans
26	26	16 of the armed services of the United States, spouses of such
27	27	17 honorably discharged veterans, and unmarried surviving spouses
28	28	18 of deceased service members of the armed services of the
29	29	19 United States.
