1 AN ACT concerning public aid.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by
5 adding Section 5-35.5 as follows:
6 (305 ILCS 5/5-35.5 new)
7 Sec. 5-35.5. Personal needs allowance. For a person who is
8 a resident in a facility licensed under the Nursing Home Care
9 Act for whom payments are made under this Article throughout a
10 month and who is determined to be eligible for medical
11 assistance under this Article, the monthly personal needs
12 allowance shall be $60.
