1 AN ACT concerning transportation.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by
5 changing Section 1-158 and adding Section 1-131.6 as follows:
6 (625 ILCS 5/1-131.6 new)
7 Sec. 1-131.6. Skateboard. Any non-pedestrian device
8 consisting of a deck with one or more wheels or rollers mounted
9 thereon and upon which the operator stands, sits, or lies
10 during use.

12 Sec. 1-158. Pedestrian. Any person afoot, or wearing
13 in-line speed skates, or operating a skateboard, including a
