SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates the sum of $250,000, or so much of that sum
as may be necessary, from the General Revenue Fund to the Board
of Higher Education for grants to a statewide association of
public pension funds affiliated with a public institution of
higher education to develop and deliver an in -person financial
literacy training program for public employees. Effective July
1, 2023.

AN ACT concerning appropriations. 1
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented 2
in the General Assembly: 3
Section 5. The sum of $250,000, or so much of that sum as 4
may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 5
to the Board of Higher Education for grants to a statewide 6
association of public pension funds affiliated with a public 7
institution of higher education to develop and deliver an in -8
person financial literacy training program for public 9
employees. 10
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 11
2023. 12
