4-AN ACT concerning finance.
5-Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
6-represented in the General Assembly:
7-Section 5. The Prevailing Wage Act is amended by changing
8-Section 3.1 as follows:
9-(820 ILCS 130/3.1)
10-Sec. 3.1. Employment on public works of local laborers;
11-report. The Department of Labor shall report quarterly
12-annually, no later than February 1, to the General Assembly
13-and the Governor the number of people employed on public works
14-in the State during the preceding 3 months calendar year. This
15-report shall include the total number of people employed on
16-each public works project during the preceding 3 months and
17-the total number of hours worked on public works both
18-statewide and by county. The report shall identify every
19-public works project in the State by project name and
20-contractor name and include the demographics of the workers on
21-the project by percentage, including gender, race, and
22-ethnicity, broken down by the following categories: (i) type
23-of trade; (ii) whether the worker is a journey worker or
24-apprentice; and (iii) total work hours performed Additionally,
25-the report shall include the total number of people employed
26-and the hours worked on public works by the 5-digit zip code,

37-form only, in the manner that the Clerk and Secretary shall
