Kevin John Olickal SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:  410 ILCS 625/3.10 new  Amends the Food Handling Regulation Enforcement Act. Provides that a provider of food handling training may not use fees paid by employees who take the providers' food handling training, for the purpose of lobbying. Provides that the Department of Public Health, or the Department's designee, shall have the ability to subpoena books and records to enforce this Section. Provides that the Department shall file a civil penalty, as set by rule, for a provider of food handling training violating this Section. 1  AN ACT concerning health.
2  Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3  represented in the General Assembly:
4  Section 5. The Food Handling Regulation Enforcement Act is
5  amended by adding Section 3.10 as follows:
6  (410 ILCS 625/3.10 new)
7  Sec. 3.10. Provider of food handling training. A provider
8  of food handling training may not use fees paid by employees
9  who take the providers' food handling training, for the
10  purpose of lobbying. The Department of Public Health, or the
11  Department's designee, shall have the ability to subpoena
12  books and records to enforce this Section. The Department
13  shall file a civil penalty, as set by rule, for a provider of
14  food handling training violating this Section.
