1 AN ACT concerning State government.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The State Commemorative Dates Act is amended by
5 adding Section 240 as follows:
6 (5 ILCS 490/240 new)
7 Sec. 240. Robotics Day. The Governor shall annually
8 designate, by official proclamation, the third Friday in March
9 as Robotics Day to encourage students and school districts to
10 engage in robotics-based activities and to engage students
11 with the study of mathematics and science.
