11	11	1 AN ACT concerning government.
12	12	2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
13	13	3 represented in the General Assembly:
14	14	4 Section 5. The State Officials and Employees Ethics Act is
15	15	5 amended by adding Section 70-25 as follows:

17	17	7 Sec. 70-25. State's Attorneys. In addition to any other
18	18	8 applicable requirement of law, the State's Attorneys of each
19	19	9 county of this State, and the Assistant State's Attorneys
20	20	10 working thereunder, shall abide by the ethics laws applicable
21	21	11 to, and the ethics policies of, the county for which they work
22	22	12 and, if applicable, shall be subject to the jurisdiction of
23	23	13 that county's ethics officer or inspector general.
