11	11	1 AN ACT concerning health.
12	12	2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
13	13	3 represented in the General Assembly:
14	14	4 Section 5. The Hospital Licensing Act is amended by adding
15	15	5 Section 6.34 as follows:
16	16	6 (210 ILCS 85/6.34 new)
17	17	7 Sec. 6.34. Prescription medication; administration to
18	18	8 patients. A hospital licensed under this Act is prohibited
19	19	9 from preventing the administration of a prescription
20	20	10 medication to a patient if the patient's treating physician
21	21	11 has prescribed the medication.
