1 AN ACT concerning State government.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Legislative Commission Reorganization Act
5 of 1984 is amended by adding Section 8A-23 as follows:
6 (25 ILCS 130/8A-23 new)
7 Sec. 8A-23. Installation of supercharger electric vehicle
8 charging stations in the legislative complex. The Architect of
9 the Capitol, in conjunction with the Secretary of State, shall
10 arrange for the installation of at least 3 supercharger
11 electric vehicle charging stations within the legislative
12 complex within 5 years after the effective date of this
13 amendatory Act of the 103rd General Assembly. As used in this
14 Section, "supercharger electric vehicle charging station"
15 means a high-power, direct-current system for rapidly charging
16 the battery system of an electric vehicle.
17 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
18 becoming law.
