11	11	1 AN ACT concerning State government.
12	12	2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
13	13	3 represented in the General Assembly:
14	14	4 Section 5. The Legislative Commission Reorganization Act
15	15	5 of 1984 is amended by adding Section 8A-23 as follows:
16	16	6 (25 ILCS 130/8A-23 new)
17	17	7 Sec. 8A-23. Installation of supercharger electric vehicle
18	18	8 charging stations in the legislative complex. The Architect of
19	19	9 the Capitol, in conjunction with the Secretary of State, shall
20	20	10 arrange for the installation of at least 3 supercharger
21	21	11 electric vehicle charging stations within the legislative
22	22	12 complex within 5 years after the effective date of this
23	23	13 amendatory Act of the 103rd General Assembly. As used in this
24	24	14 Section, "supercharger electric vehicle charging station"
25	25	15 means a high-power, direct-current system for rapidly charging
26	26	16 the battery system of an electric vehicle.
27	27	17 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
28	28	18 becoming law.
