SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $500,000 to the Department of Transportation
for the purpose of granting the sum to the City of Chicago to
construct concrete -protected bike lanes. Effective July 1,
2023.

AN ACT concerning appropriations. 1
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented 2
in the General Assembly: 3
Section 5. The sum of $500,000, or so much of that sum as 4
may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 5
to the Department of Transportation for the purpose of granting 6
the sum to the City of Chicago to construct concrete-protected 7
bike lanes. 8
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 9
2023. 10
