1515 Appropriates $5,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to
1616 the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for grants
1717 to specified organizations as deemed appropriate by the
1818 Department for purposes of administering preapprenticeship
1919 workforce development programs that support education and
2020 training programming targeted to individuals under the age of

3838 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented 2
3939 in the General Assembly: 3

4141 Section 5. The sum of $5,000,000, or so much of that sum 4
4242 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 5
4343 Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for 6
4444 grants to community -based organizations, nonprofit entities, 7
4545 community colleges, private and public universities, and other 8
4646 organizations as deemed appropriate by the Department for 9
4747 purposes of administering preapprenticeship workforce 10
