Appropriates $750,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to
the State Board of Education for evidence -based funding
provided for in Section 18 -8.15 of the School Code. Effective
July 1, 2023.

AN ACT concerning appropriations. 1
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented 2
in the General Assembly: 3
Section 5. The sum of $750,000,000, or so much of that sum 4
as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Reve nue 5
Fund to the State Board of Education for evidence-based funding 6
provided for in Section 18 -8.15 of the School Code. 7
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 8
2023. 9
