SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $3,500,000 from the General Revenue Fund to
the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant
to the Cook County Board of Review for costs associated with
technology enhancements and modernization of the county’s tax
appeals system. Effective July 1, 2023.

AN ACT concerning appropriations. 1
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented 2
in the General Assembly: 3
Section 5. The sum of $3,500,000, or so much thereof as may 4
be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to 5
the Department of Commerce and Econo mic Opportunity for a grant 6
to the Cook County Board of Review for costs associated with 7
technology enhancements and modernization of the county’s tax 8
appeals system. 9
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 10
2023. 11
