11	11	1 AN ACT concerning regulation.
12	12	2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
13	13	3 represented in the General Assembly:
14	14	4 Section 5. The Network Adequacy and Transparency Act is
15	15	5 amended by changing Section 30 as follows:
16	16	6 (215 ILCS 124/30)
17	17	7 Sec. 30. Administration and enforcement.
18	18	8 (a) Insurers, as defined in this Act, have a continuing
19	19	9 obligation to comply with the requirements of this Act. Other
20	20	10 than the duties specifically created in this Act, nothing in
21	21	11 this Act is intended to preclude, prevent, or require the
22	22	12 adoption, modification, or termination of any utilization
23	23	13 management, quality management, or claims processing
24	24	14 methodologies of an insurer.
25	25	15 (b) Nothing in this Act precludes, prevents, or requires
26	26	16 the adoption, modification, or termination of any network plan
27	27	17 term, benefit, coverage or eligibility provision, or payment
28	28	18 methodology.
29	29	19 (c) The Director shall enforce the provisions of this Act
30	30	20 pursuant to the enforcement powers granted to it by law.
31	31	21 (d) The Department shall adopt rules to enforce compliance
32	32	22 with this Act to the extent necessary.
33	33	23 (e) The Department shall create a Network Adequacy Unit

76	76	9 examination report, notwithstanding any provision of law to
77	77	10 the contrary.
