SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $3,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to
the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity to provide
unemployment insurance relief in response to the COVID -19
pandemic to eligible small restaurants in the City of Rockford.
Effective July 1, 2023.

AN ACT concerning appropriations. 1
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented 2
in the General Assembly: 3
Section 5. The amount of $3,000,000, or so much thereof as 4
may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 5
to the Department of Commerce and Ec onomic Opportunity to 6
provide unemployment insurance relief in response to the COVID-7
19 pandemic to eligible small restaurants in the City of 8
Rockford. 9
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 10
2023. 11
