SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $25,000,000 from the Road Fund to the Illinois
State Police for installation and maintenance of camera systems
under the Expressway Camera Act and for associated
telecommunications costs and camera warranties. Effective July
1, 2023.

AN ACT concerning appropriations. 1
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented 2
in the General Assembly: 3
Section 5. The sum of $25,000,000, or so much of that sum 4
as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Road Fund to the 5
Illinois State Police for installation and maintenance of 6
camera systems under the Expressway Camera Act and for 7
associated telecommunications costs and camera warranties. 8
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 9
2023. 10
