1 AN ACT concerning transportation.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The State Finance Act is amended by adding
5 Section 5.1012 as follows:
6 (30 ILCS 105/5.1012 new)
7 Sec. 5.1012. The Navy Club Fund.
8 Section 10. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by adding
9 Section 3-699.24 as follows:
10 (625 ILCS 5/3-699.24 new)
11 Sec. 3-699.24. Navy Club license plates.
12 (a) The Secretary, upon receipt of all applicable fees and
13 applications made in the form prescribed by the Secretary of
14 State, may issue special registration plates designated as
15 Navy Club license plates to residents of Illinois who meet
16 eligibility requirements prescribed by the Secretary of State.
17 The special plate issued under this Section shall be affixed
18 only to passenger vehicles of the first division, motorcycles,
19 motor vehicles of the second division weighing not more than
20 8,000 pounds, and recreational vehicles as defined by Section
21 1-169 of this Code. Plates issued under this Section shall
