11	11	1 AN ACT concerning public aid.
12	12	2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
13	13	3 represented in the General Assembly:
14	14	4 Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by
15	15	5 changing Section 5-2.06 as follows:

17	17	7 Sec. 5-2.06. Payment rates; Children's Community-Based
18	18	8 Health Care Centers. Beginning January 1, 2025 2020, the
19	19	9 Department shall, for eligible individuals, reimburse
20	20	10 Children's Community-Based Health Care Centers established in
21	21	11 the Alternative Health Care Delivery Act and providing nursing
22	22	12 care for the purpose of transitioning children from a hospital
23	23	13 to home placement or other appropriate setting and reuniting
24	24	14 families for a maximum of up to 120 days on a per diem basis at
25	25	15 the lower of the Children's Community-Based Health Care
26	26	16 Center's usual and customary charge to the public or at the
27	27	17 Department rate of $1650 $950. Payments at the rate set forth
28	28	18 in this Section are exempt from the 2.7% rate reduction
29	29	19 required under Section 5-5e.
