Requires the Secretary of State to provide an option to an applicant for an original, reissued, or renewed identification card, driver's license, or driver's permit to indicate the applicant's blood type. If an applicant chooses to indicate the applicant's blood type, the Secretary of State shall print the identified blood type on the applicant's identification card, driver's license, or permit. Provides that nothing in the provisions shall be construed to require the Secretary to verify an applicant's blood type designation. 12	12	1 AN ACT concerning State government.
13	13	2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
14	14	3 represented in the General Assembly:
15	15	4 Section 5. The Illinois Identification Card Act is amended
16	16	5 by adding Section 18 as follows:
17	17	6 (15 ILCS 335/18 new)
18	18	7 Sec. 18. Blood type on identification card. The Secretary
19	19	8 of State shall provide an option to an applicant for an
20	20	9 original, reissued, or renewed identification card to indicate
21	21	10 the applicant's blood type. If an applicant chooses to
22	22	11 indicate the applicant's blood type, the Secretary of State
23	23	12 shall print the identified blood type on the applicant's
24	24	13 identification card. Nothing in this Section shall be
25	25	14 construed to require the Secretary of State to verify an
26	26	15 applicant's blood type designation.
27	27	16 Section 10. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by adding
28	28	17 Section 6-123 as follows:
