| 10 | + | 8 incapacity, resignation or removal of a guardian of the estate |

| 11 | + | 9 or person of a living ward, the court shall appoint a successor |

| 12 | + | 10 guardian or terminate the adjudication of disability. The |

| 13 | + | 11 powers and duties of the successor guardian shall be the same |

| 14 | + | 12 as those of the predecessor guardian unless otherwise |

| 16 | + | 14 Notice of the time and place of the hearing on a petition |

| 17 | + | 15 for the appointment of a successor guardian shall be given not |

| 18 | + | 16 less than 3 days before the hearing for a successor to a |

| 20 | + | 18 hearing for a successor to a limited or plenary guardian. The |

| 21 | + | 19 notice shall be by mail or in person to the alleged person with |
|---|
| 22 | + | 20 a disability, to the proposed successor guardian, and to those |
|---|
| 23 | + | 21 persons whose names and addresses are listed in the petition |

| 24 | + | 22 for adjudication of disability and appointment of a guardian |
