SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $200,000 to the Architect of the Capitol from
the Build Illinois Bond Fund for the placement of a non -
denominational prayer chapel within the Capitol Complex.
Effective July 1, 2024.

AN ACT concerning appropriations. 1
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented 2
in the General Assembly: 3
Section 5. The sum of $200,000, or so much thereof as may 4
be necessary, is appropriated from the Build Illinois Bond Fund 5
to the Architect of the Capitol for the placement of a non -6
denominational prayer chapel within the Capitol Complex. 7
Section 99. Effective Date. This Act takes effect July 1, 8
2024. 9
