SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED: 
 
Appropriates the amount of $53,000,000 from the Capital 
Facility and Technology Modernization Fund to the Office of the 
Comptroller for technology modernization of the Statewide 
Legacy Systems and maintenance of information technology 
systems and infrastructure and other costs. Appropriates the 
amount of $53,000,000 to the Office of the Comptroller from the 
General Revenue Fund for deposit into the Capital Facility and 
Technology Modernization Fund. Effective July 1, 2024.

  AN ACT concerning appropriations. 1 
 
  Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented 2 
in the General Assembly:  3 
 
  Section 5.  The amount of $53,000,000, or such much thereof 4 
as may be necessary and in addition to other amounts that may 5 
be appropriated, is appropriated to t he State Comptroller from 6 
the Capital Facility and Technology Modernization Fund to the 7 
Office of the Comptroller for technology modernization of the 8 
Statewide Legacy Systems and maintenance of information 9 
technology systems and infrastructure and other co sts pursuant 10 
to subsection (e) of Section 28 of the State Comptroller Act. 11 
 
  Section 10. The amount of $53,000,000, or so much thereof 12 
as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Office of the 13 
Comptroller from the General Revenue Fund for deposit into the 14 
Capital Facility and Technology Modernization Fund to be used 15 
by the Office of the Comptroller for technology modernization 16 
of the Statewide Legacy Systems and maintenance of information 17 
technology systems and infrastructure and other costs pursuant 18 
to subsection (e) of Section 28 of the State Comptroller Act.  19 
 
 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 20 
2024. 21
