| 6 | 6 | | 4 Geiger of Chicago, who passed away on December 30, 2022; and |

| 7 | 7 | | 5 WHEREAS, Bernard Geiger graduated from Neal F. Simeon |

| 8 | 8 | | 6 Vocational High School/Career Academy in Chicago in 1970, |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | 7 where he served as class president; during his tenure, he |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | 8 listened to his classmates' concerns, worked with |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | 9 administrators, and brought beneficial changes to the high |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | 10 school during his senior year; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | 11 WHEREAS, Bernard Geiger was known for his leadership and |

| 14 | 14 | | 12 interpersonal skills, and he touched many lives; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | 13 WHEREAS, Bernard Geiger leaves behind a lasting legacy and |

| 16 | 16 | | 14 great memories of joy and laughter; and |

| 17 | 17 | | 15 WHEREAS, Bernard Geiger is survived by his children, |

| 18 | 18 | | 16 Tristan and Shannon, and the Geiger family; therefore, be it |
