44 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
55 3 Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Kathryn
66 4 O. "Katie" Lasota, who passed away on December 27, 2023; and
77 5 WHEREAS, Kathryn Lasota, the daughter of Harold and
88 6 Gwendolyn Marston, was born in South Portland, Maine on
99 7 February 10, 1959; she married David Lasota in Streamwood on
1010 8 February 14, 2011; and
1111 9 WHEREAS, Kathryn Lasota enjoyed antiques and co-owned The
1212 10 Cornucopia Tea and Gift Shop in Aurora with her husband,
1313 11 David; she was also employed with the Illinois Hospital
1414 12 Association for 20 years; and
1515 13 WHEREAS, Kathryn Lasota will be remembered as a devoted
1616 14 wife and loving mother; and
1717 15 WHEREAS, Kathryn Lasota was preceded in death by her
1818 16 parents; and
1919 17 WHEREAS, Kathryn Lasota is survived by her husband of 12
2020 18 years, David Lasota, and her children, Adam B. Lasota and
2121 19 Nicole C. Lasota; therefore, be it
